About River & Word Magazine

 

River & Word was founded in November 2015, by our founder Pam Jones.  She was asked of the Lord to minister online.  Pam had no clue on how to run a magazine, and she was not understanding how she could minister internationally through a magazine.  God had a plan, and at His word Pam stepped out in faith and River & Word was born.

 

Who Are We

 

River & Word is a Christian digital magazine, and we were created to promote, support and connect independent recording artist, authors, small business and entrepreneurs.  We help promote God's people through advertising, articles, and interviews.  We support our clients by posting, liking and sharing their information.  In addition, we support the indies by attending their events and writing articles to help tell people about them.  Finally, River & Word connects its clients to other sources that can help take them higher and further in their career.

 

Our Mission

 

River & Word Magazine is committed to seeing independent individuals, that are not backed by corporations, large record labels or publishing companies, succeed in their business, ministry or art.

 

Our Goal

 

River & Word has developed a TRW Sponsorship program that gives out scholarships to support the indie individuals, who may not have the financial resources.  Our goal is to ensure that the independents have their needs met, whether it be a plane ticket, dress, travel money or hotel. 

 

What is Next for River & Word

 

River & Word has a spin-off broadcast, Business & The Bible, WYTV7.ORG, a 2018 Gospel Image Award-winning network! 

 

River & Word has been offered several radio and TV spots, which will be coming by the end of the year or no later than March 2019.

 

River & Word has a River Award Dinner on March 9, 2019, to celebrate the individuals that have been in or magazine or affiliated with us.  During the dinner, we will give out awards and scholarships to those individuals the Lord has selected.  We do not vote people in for the awards or scholarships, instead, we go before the Lord in prayer and ask of Him whom he wants to receive the blessings.
