Dr. Lacie Cupani holds a doctorate in medicine (1990) and a PhD in immunology, microbiology and infectious diseases from the Academy of Medicine. the State of Kyrgyzstan (1998); and MS in International Health from the University of Tokyo (2001). Dr. СUpani worked as a research scientist and group leader at the Polytechnic University of New York (2001-2005). She has published over 70 research articles in leading scientific journals, and the results of her scientific research have made their way into federal and state grants as well as patents, including Kyrgyz and US patents. СUpani Fashion has become a 2014 fashion line at Fashion Week in the city of Little Rock in the state of Arkansas, USA.She designed a dress for First Lady Susan Hutchinson, wife of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, for her inauguration in January 2015. In 2015-16, Cupani was a nominee for "Project Runway", USA.
