I had the pleasure of meeting with Larry and I found him to be a genuine coach, that loved helping people. His passion for what he does was evident when he invited two ball players to be interviewed. I set the interview for Larry, but he wanted to share the opportunity with the guys he has mentored. What an admirable thing to do, not many people want to share the spotlight.
Larry Williams humbled spirit was refreshing! In the NBA arena, many players can get a little haughty, but not Larry and his team. I have never met such humbled basketball players.
During the interview, I learned some exciting news, former NBA Hornets player, "Squeeky" Johnson is now an author. He has given me permission to host his book in our magazine. Also, Tedrick "Teddy" Stephens has his own company, Chosen Hoops! Both young men are featured in our December magazine issue. Teddy is also a strong believer and we had a mini bible study during the interview.
