Breaking into an acting career requires a lot of picture taking, knocking on the right doors, hit the ground running and flying from city to city to land at the right set! A handsome face and distinguished voice is half the battle, and Brett, with those beautiful bluish gray eyes and chiseled, handsome face, has half of the work done. His physical presentation has the ladies asking if he is single: well ladies, Brett is single but focused on his career and bettering himself as a person and actor. He believes when the time is right, he will find someone he can totally invest himself into. For now ladies, he is just putting everything into his career and hoping life will lead him to the right person.

Brett has had many roles such as, Detroiters (2017), Wacko Roary Lionman (filming) Auction Bidder 2017, Transformers: The Last Knight (completed), Bank Customer (uncredited) 2017, Detroiters (TV Series) Chrysler Advertising Employee- Quick Rick Mahorn in Dearborn (2017) ... Chrysler Advertising Employee (uncredited) 2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Soldier / Metropolis Paramedic (uncredited) 2015, Supreme Justice with Judge Karen (TV Series) Michael Alexander- Terror Dog & Deadly Cleaning Bill (2015) ... Michael Alexander.

Every role Brett Stanfield has been offered was an opportunity to expand his knowledge and experience as an actor. He has always felt grateful to be offered a role, because acting is so competitive. Stanfield has been acting since he was a child, trying out for school plays and practicing for the future. He recalls going to the movies of the Oscars each year.

Brett's favorite movie is "Get Out" by director and writer Jordan Peele. "Daniel Kaluuya as Chris Washington did an incredible job in the movie of the year and he even won best comedic performance. The movie was suspenseful, dramatic, comedic and even considered a horror film. I believe everyone in this film contributed to the success of it, and the movie will become one of the best movies in history," Brett said.

Becoming an actor can be a lot of work with the hard and trying time: acting relies a lot on self-determination and perseverance. Many people will turn you down in this field, but you can't let that stop you from your dreams, because if you know it is what you want to do, don't give up, Brett said, as he offered up advice to up coming actors.

Yes, not giving up is the key to success! If the writer/author of Dr. Seuss had given up after every single rejection, at the point of his poverty, none of us would have benefited from the great children's books today!

In any career or phase of life there will be things or people that wreck your nerve or discomfort you. Brett's pet peeve is rude people. I have to agree with him on people being rude, that is my pet peeve. Brett can't stand people who think their time is better than someone else's, and they are generally difficult to talk too. Life is too short to treat people any less than the way you would want to be treated, said Brett, and he takes pride in being kind to others and will go the extra mile to help those he cares about.

In getting to know Brett better, I have learned that he is very self-conscious about himself, and he wants to look his very best every day. Well, I would have to say that as good looking as Brett is, he can walk out in old jeans and a t-shirt and he would rock it! The annoying habit for Brett is that he takes too long to get ready, but he wants to present the best appearance as possible when in the public eye.

In Brett's down time, he loves to spend time with family and go to the gym. He enjoys having time alone to reflect and relax. His favorite time of the year is summer: Brett feels that the sunshine brings so much happiness and positivity to his life. Brett's favorite things to do are swimming, tanning, beaches and bond-fires. Sounds like a fun kind of guy to hang out with!

When looking toward the future of films, Brett is concerned that they don't lose what the film industry has worked so hard to achieve. He hopes the passion and love of film making isn't lost in the years to come. I can understand the feelings Brett may be concerned with because of all the digital configurations that look like real life characters. Digital film making could make acting a dying art.

The comfort of being an actor never really comes for most, but Brett said, it hasn't negatively affected his life. "I enjoy being recognized for my work and noticed for what I have put so much effort into".

The majority of actors and actress have someone that inspires them, for Brett it is Michael Shannon and Andrew Scott. He was blown away by Shannon's performance in 99 Homes, The Night Before and Nocturnal Animals. Shannon has brought a lot of passion to his roles, whether big or small, he stole the scene, as Brett sees it. Scott's role as Moriarty in Sherlock was the best acting Brett feels he has ever seen, and it gave him an incredible amount of inspiration that he hopes to take and become the actor he knows he can be.

Cameras off, lights out and Brett isn't acting, he is just an average guy from Michigan that enjoys spending time with his love ones. He claims to not be too much different from the next guy and he is happy about that quality. Brett feels life is about being happy and putting your all into something you care about.

Brett is such an amazing guy with an humble heart. I love his care for others, that is a rare quality these days, and I welcome it and wish more people would be as caring as Brett is. Best to you and your career as you go forward in acting.
