Love, a powerful four letter word, that we hear so often, yet we sheldom know it or experience it. Love is a verb that takes action to express it. Many people say love you, love ya or I love you, but in the verbal expression of love, is it spoken in true definition or just out of familiarity?

To find the true answers to questions or dilemas about love, I will go the the source from which it came.

He tells you he loves you but he hits, yells and swares by everything that is not holy. She says, I love you baby but her action are cold, insensitive and mean. People recite, Love ya! But you never hear from them, they aren't around when you need them, and they are always in need of something from you, and are never giving anything in return. How could this be love? What does love look like, feel like or sound like?

My people suffer from the lack of knowledge; therefore, we all suffer from the lack of knowledge of what love is or what it means.

Hosea said it best in chapter 4:6,

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

What is love? The Bible tells us that God is love and that love gives. When you want to know the real truth, you will go to the source, the word of God. The Bible is basic instructions before leaving earth. God loves and gives!

The word of truth tells us that God is love, 1 John 4:8, He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. The word of truth also tells us that God gave in John 3:16,

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Now that we know where love came from and who gave it, let's examine what love actually means. In general, everything and everyone wants to be loved. Why? Because we are made in the image of God, and if God is love then we are love. Seeing that love is an action word, we should do an act of love to show forth "I love you," correct? Sure it is correct.

According to the Strongs Hebrew Greek concordance, love is the word agape. Agape means to be charitable, dear (deep affection; cherished by someone). To show forth agape love, one will take an action in affection, good will, love, benevolence and show brotherly love.

Affection is often shown in a hug, kiss, giving a gift, pat on the back or shoulder and a scruffling of someones hair. Many people associate showing affection by making love. To understand how we should be affectionate, we should go back to the word of truth. Affection in Colossians 3:2, means to do the following, set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Why? When we seek the kingdom of God first, then all things shall be added unto us. When we seek to set our love, which is an act shown by affection, then we seek after God and we love on Him first.

In loving on the heavenly father, we gain access to a perfect love, that will fill us up and over flood our hearts. When we are full, we are then able to pour out an unconditional love to others, by giving charitably and looking for nothing in return. By giving love in benevolence, one gives in kindness and euphemistically, according to the old Hebrew/Greek meaning.

Benevolence is the old word εὔνοια eúnoia, yoo'-noy-ah, and it means being kind. Kindness should be understood, but for the sake of truth, kindness is the act or the state of being kind, being marked by good and charitable behavior, pleasant disposition, and concern for others. (Wesbster dictionary). Love, in a benevolence, also means to give euphemistically, which is to say of a mild or indirect word or expression, instead of one considered too harsh or blunt. I have often heard many Christain's say, I am just being direct, I am just firm or I love you so I have be hard on you...THER IS NO HARD LOVE, you are just harsh and rude.

Why do so many people feel that love has to be expressed harsh or blunt? We just read that the truth about the verb love, takes actions of expressing affection on things above, not on things on the earth, and we do so through agape love! If we are made in God's image and likeness, and He is love, then we should be love. God gave for loves sake, then we should give. The real question here is what kind of love are you giving or showing. We have read the truth, and we should have a better understanding of the basics of love.

Never leave a stone unturned; therefore we will examine this thing called love and the truth shall set us free! John 8:32, and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Free! Free from what? The truth shall you free from your deeds that do not represent God's love towards each other.

John 8:36, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

What are the verb action deeds to love? Let us walk the pages of the word of truth for the answers. We are getting our spiritual exercise today, by walking through the Bible! According to the old lanugauge, indeed is the word ontōs, and it means a certainty of a truth, in a clean or pure form. When we get freed from the lack of knowedge of love, by the word of truth, through God's son Yeshua (Jesus), then we will love ourselves and God first, and in a certainty of His truth about love! Amen

The only way to get to the father is through Yeshua, His son, and when we go through Yeshua, the love that he and the father God has for us, is now given to us in turth. In this truth, we are able to love freely. Halleluyah!!

What do we do with this certainty of love? Zechariah 8:16, these are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates.

The only safe ground to stand on is truth! How do you speak to every man the truth? Speak the word of God and not your opinion, nor the opinions of your parents, friends, teachers, ministers (If its contrary to the word of God) or your spouse. What am I saying to you?

Example:

A lady is walking down the street and she looks poor and ragedy, but you say ooh she is dirty, ugly and stinks. It is true that the lady looks ragedy, poor and assumebly stinks, but is it the truth about who they lady really is? No! Because the word of God defines who all of us are in Genesis 1:27, so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Now the truth about this lady walking down the street is what God's word says; therefore, instead of saying what is true about her, speak the truth through God's word. When we speak truth, we invite heaven to agree with us. Heaven will only sit on something like itself. We say, God thank you for your daughter, that is made in your image and likeness and we thank for helping her to walk in it and meet all her needs, in Yeshua's (Jesus) name. We have many truths to be said of someone, no matter how they look or act.

Example:

A co-worker is always loud and rude, disagrees with everyone and just mean! The people in the office feel like they are walking on egg shells, because he is so disruptive and the least little thing ticks him off! The workers all speak about him and say, he is so rude, he is so mean, ooh I hate being arround him etc. Yes, it is true that the co-worker is a negative person and it is very diffucult to work around him, but the word of truth says, he is love, he is kind, he is slow to anger and he is charitable.

When we see negative actions that are true about a person, we reverse the curse and speak the word of God about the person.

How do you get the workers to agree to speak the truth about the co-worker? Try setting a date of 3 weeks, for everyone to agree to speak the truth about who they want him to be. When someone says a negaitive true, counteract it it with a truth from Gods word. Add scriptures of the truth to speak over the negative person..There is a key, do not tell the negative person what you are doing. Do not get in the negative persons face and say how bad they are acting. Stick to the plan of 3 weeks, this is a double fold, because in doing this exercise, you will find the need of patience. Patience work her perfect work in all of us.

I thought you were talking about love, and what does all this have to do with love?

1 Thessalonians 1:3,

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.

The act of faith is what is needed to agree and speak the truth over a negative person. The laboring of love will keep you from fearing a negative person will never change. Patience of hoping will help you stand for another human being, seeing they are in misery. Imagine a life without love, how empty and scary it must be.

Perfect love cast out ALL fear! 1 John 4:18, there is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

When we are full of the love of God, we are not afraid to love, because there is no fear in God's love. We know He loves us with an ever lasting love. We know He gave His ONLY son for us, that we might live and not die or go to HELL. Glory thank you Yeshua (Jesus)!!

When a person is not loving or kind, they are generally afraid, insecure, hurting or in pain. Everyone has a story to tell, but the one story of truth is the story written about our love life. How is your love life? The answer is simple when God is the head of your life and Yeshua is your Lord. In loving the father, we learn to love ourselves. In loving ourselves, we learn to love others unconditionally. In unconditional love, we don't fear rejection or ridicule, because we know our heavenly father loves us no matter what, and He will never leave or forsake us. When we walk in an agape love, we are able to live in truth and not emotions. When we can be read of mean as a loving kind generous person, we have just shown the dark world the love of God.

Fear is not of God, and we are to walk fearless on this earth as the hallmark of love! When a person gives you a card for your birthday, holiday or speacial occassion, we are eager to open the card and read how they feel about us. No one opens a card expecting to see a negative message about them. God has set his affection towards us, and we are to do the same towards Him. When God gives us as a hallmark card, we can be read as ALL loving, kind, generous, affectionate and a truthful person. Just think about how your life can be the hallmark card God uses to save a soul. Hmm? God can re-write history for someones life, because that soul was able to read the love of God for them, through you.

The next time you are before this world, be slow to speak and quick to hear what the spirit is saying for you to do, pray, say, act or smile, as God's hallmark card for a dying soul.

Shall these dry bones live? Yes, prophesy over a life and let God give the increase. There is nothing dead that God can't ressurrect through Yeshua! 1 Corinthians 15:12, Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

A negative person is dead in side, dry with no life of God, but when we speak the truth of God's word over them, we are prophesying life into their dead situation. Amen! The life, breath and water of heaven causes a dry dead person to live!

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which wasfull of bones,

And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live. Ezekeil 1:1-5 Amen!!

I love you with an agape love,

Pam J
