In life, some have a list of their favorite people, things, places or foods. In other cases, there are things we can never live without, and for Neva Nation the five things are Jesus, family, prayer, worship and peace. Peace, now that is something the world could use right now. One way to find peace is to live as Neva does, by the word of God.

I love to belt out songs when I am driving in my car, especially on a clear sunny day. I can sing, as loud as I want, and there is no one to tell me I sound bad. Neva Nation loves to belt out "Leave it at the Alter". To be successful in this life, you must have dreams and goals, that you write down. The bible tells us to write the vision down and make it plain, so he that reads it can run with it. We should be able to invite people to help us carry out our visions that God has given us. Neva's ten year plain is empowering women all over the world with her ministry. She describes her music as annointed, uplifting, smooth and jazzy contemporary. As with most artist I have spoken with, they all have a play list of other artist. Neva's top five list consist of Le'Andria Johnson - Leap into My Destiny; Jessica Reedy - Leave it at the Altar; Neva Ford Nation - Holding On and one of my personal favorites, Shelia Moore-Piper - Get Excited. Get Excited is a song that charges me up daily, I literaly sing Get Excited everyday!

As many artist grow in their career, there is always someone they would love to be on stage with, go on tour or open for. Neva would love to open for Le'Andria Johnson. Down time is essentail for every person. Artist have to find time to steal away, and Neva loves to study the word of God when she isn't singing or performing.

Singers tend to write from experience or inspiration from others. Neva writes from her trails and tribulation, what she has been through, and what God has brought her out of. I am over joyed to be able to encourage others said, Neva. Like most artist, Neva get's nervous.

Neva Nation, we at River & Word are so pleased that you have joined our family. We are here for you with a promise to support you. Praying for your much success!

Pam J
