There are so many artist that I have interviewed or featured in our magazine, but then there are those that still have that lady like quality and a smile that lights the world. Singers are to bring joy, laughter and tears of healing. Many do all three and then some. Meet a quality lady, Cassaundra M Webb.

The ultimate goal of an interview is to get to know the artist and become more intimate with them. Understanding the artist history and purpose, pulls us closer and solidify their music.

Cassaundra said, her strengths as an gospel artist are her "love for the Lord and the people of the Lord, also the ones that never see a church, but may turn on the radio for inspiration and may hear one my songs and change there life."

When she is in a recording session, she likes learning how to work in a studio, when you have been a church singer most of your life. It's totally different, said Cassaundra.

She feels like if she could redo a project, it would be all of them. She said there are many more to come. To keep going, and stay motivated she reflects on it being a long time dream of a little girl. She would sing each holiday for her family and saw herself singing on a big stage in her dreams. Thank the Lord He makes dreams come true, Cassaundra Webb said.

Every artist tends to have a favorite artist, and Webb's are Shirley Caesar, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Dottie Peoples, Timothy Wright, James Moore, Carolyn Traylor...Tamela Mann. When she is not performng or recording, her favorite ways to relax are fishing and reading the word.

Her inspiration is family, she said, "because when the doctor's said, I wouldn't live to see 1990, and God has given me 28 more years of new life, gives me inspiration everyday, and I got a right to praise him."

Besides singing, Ms. Webb is a realtor, caterer, credit repair and being a grandmother many hats under one umbrella, said Cassaundra. She wants to contiunue with more music, play's and movies. She isn't letting grass grow under her feet, and on November 16 - 17, 2017, she has a workshop that she said, "is geared to help independent artist reach their goals without spending money in the wrong places and not into themselves..invest in yourself. Thank God for all the great people like Pastor Keithron Powell CEO of Igarra, Arthur Roland and many others."

Many artist have a goal of being on stage with other artist. Cassaundra would like to perform on stage withTamela Mann, Marvin Sapp, Jamie Foxx, Dorinda Clark-Cole really share the stage with the Legend herself Shirley Caesar. Wow! These are some big shoes to walk the stage with.

As with many artist, they love to share advise to help up coming artist. She suggest an artist invest in yourself, make wise choses and never give up on your dreams it shall come to past, with God all things are possible.
