Honoring the Life of our CEO Mr. Michael Bazile
"Mr. Michael A. Bazile founded Urban Houston Network in 2011 with the assistance of Dr. Clara R. Brent. His dreams to build a television broadcasting network for the Urban community sparked UHN 43.5. Urban Houston Network has broadcast in Houston, Texas for over 4 years with a mission to Inspire, Educate and Entertain the community.
I was invited to come to an open house at UHN by the Director of Promotions, Angela Bennett. Upon arrival, I was amazed at the professional setting. The warm welcome from the staff, production crew, and Dr. Clara R. Brent, the CEO of UHN, made me feel as though I was family. The beautiful introduction and tour of the station left me in awe! If the warm greetings weren't enough, my nose caught a whiff of fresh Bar-B-Que! Yes, Perry & Sons had prepared a meal for all of us, the station's owner, Dr. Clara R. Brent, was filming her segment called "The Voice", and the props were 4th of July napkins and plates with none other than Perry & Sons Bar-B-Que!
During the filming of "The Voice", I was asked to be in the audience that would clap and laugh. I then was asked to get award winning gospel recording artist, Shelia Moore Piper, and a few other guests to join me to be part of the audience. We had so much fun watching the show being filmed and laughing at a few of the scenes. Then, without warning, I was asked to come and sit in on "The Voice". I quickly tried to wiggle out of it, but Freedom, the producer, kept insisting until he finally pulled rank and asked Dr. Clara R. Brent, "Do you want Pam to sit in"? Mother, as I called her, said, "Yes, I like Pam. Come on and sit in." Well I was cornered now, because there was no way I was going to tell mother no, she is the owner and my elder!
After the filming of "The Voice" we all took a break and ate the best Bar-B-Que ever! The meat just melted in your mouth and that potato salad was like grandma used to make! I absolutely love Jerri because she is an awesome woman of God and prayer warrior! Please support her and listen in at 7 a.m. Monday - Friday. Jerri will start off the show with a power packed prayer and lead us with a right now word from the throne room of God. I have personally applied many of the the words she has spoken and what she said came to pass!
After we ate, it was time for the next filming with Tori J and, yours truly, Pam J as her co-host as we took over UHN...not really, but Tori J almost shut the place down with the late filming ha ha! We actually had technical difficulty that had us start late and end late, but it was on Facebook's part and not on UHN.
During Tori J & Pam J Take Over, we had the pleasure of interviewing the top International clothing
Designer Lacie Cupani! Lacie was so excited about being interviewed on UHN, that she advertised it everywhere! What a beautiful spirited woman and so passionate about what she creates; Her crochet clothing line is an expression of the person's personality.
Once we finished Lacie's interview, she invited us to her fashion show in New York, and she also asked UHN to film the event! What a blessing to have such an honor bestowed upon the Urban Houston Network.
During the Tori J & Pam J Take Over, sports announcer A. J. Jones came on set, and naturally
we had to have him sit in with us. A.J. has a voice to die for and is an awesome sports announcer. His show, "UHN Sports w/A..J Jones" airs every Thursday at 6:30 pm, be sure to support his show and "The Voice".
